Café and Custom

Fenders

Slash 5 Café

$95

We took the stock Slash 5 front fender and removed the edge and center ridges.  We left it full length so you can cut and trim it for your custom application.

We removed 8" from the front and 3" from the rear of this Slash 5 Café fender.

We developed this fender for Josh Withers’ next project to resemble the fender he had modified and used on his /5 Toaster.

You may remember this beautiful bike Josh built when it made the July/August 2009 cover of Motorcycle Classics.

Josh has been commissioned to build another /5 for Shane Balkowitsch and they have been gracious enough to let BoxerCafe supply the body work.

You can follow their project at  www.btinet.net/~sharoncol/bmw.htm   and you can reach Josh at jjwithers@gmail.com.

 Elephant Ear Fender

 $130

 OEM Weight - 2 lb. 15 oz.

 Our Weight - 1 lb. 13 oz.

Shorty Café fender with side mounts

$70

This fender works with the San Jose brace or the BMW S brace, but not with the factory pressed steel brace.

We do not recommend riding without a fork brace.  This fender does not take the place of a brace, it does not have enough strength.

Shorty Café fender without side mounts

$55

The two "Shorty" fenders are the same design, one with side mounts and the other without side mounts.

The Shorty Fender with side mounts can be used in conjunction with the San Jose brace.

The Shorty Fender with side mounts can be used with the 2 piece S fork brace, but the braces will need to be separated further apart than normal.

The Shorty Fender without side mounts can be used with the stock pressed steel fork brace.

The Shorty Fender without side mounts can be used with the San Jose brace.

PLEASE READ

Our fiberglass parts are unfinished.  This means you will need to sand, prime and paint the part.  You will also need to drill any holes necessary to mount the part.  Mounting hardware is not included, only the replacement fiberglass part.  If any hardware is included with the part, it will be stated in the description.

NOTE: Occasionally there may be surface imperfections that will need to be sanded or filled and leveled.  Some parts may have flashing that will need to be sanded, filled and leveled.

Air bubbles are an inherent problem with hand laid fiberglass.

Occasionally you may expose an air bubble while sanding the surface.  Any air bubbles will need to be filled, sanded and leveled.

You can read more on our FIBERGLASS PART INSTRUCTIONS page.

Thank You.
